12oz bottle. pours with a very tall, thick, and creamy head. the color is red brown, with orange edges. aroma is roasty with coco and a hint of cherry. nice full body with a rich layered texture. coco and molasses stand out. a well pronounced hop bitterness rounds out the finish.

Bottle Black pour with small head. Can’t smell too much, nose is stuffed up. Pretty good flavor for an organic.

Aweseom porter, not so gassy as the Californian normal stouts and not so thick.

Bottle. Pours deep ruby with a beige head. Darker chocolate aroma with espresso. The flavor is strong coffee beans, some smoke, with a hint of hops in the finish. Nice.

starts out just a bit more than a bit ashy and that was really not good. but time turns that taste into a bit acrid type of roastiness and blends better with the overall good chocolate flavor and mouthfeel of this beer. velvety and flavorful this could be a real winner except that acrid smoke is just... artificial in taste. touch of hops for my palate at best. creamy and a bit sweet. certainly not bad.

12 ounce bottle in pint glass. Dark bronw black with nice tan head and lotsa lace. Mild chocolate and yeast aroma. Roasted chocolate and fruity flavor with biting hoppy carbonation finish. Medium body. Bite settle down a little when some air comes out. Ok.

Bottle. Poured an opaque dark brown with a lightly lacing creamy off-white head that clings to the glass. Rich, almost smoky aroma of roasted malt. Hints of char and chocolate are present on the toasted malt body and this beer finishes with a coffee-like bitterness. Nice blend of bitter sweetness in this Porter. Creamy mouthfilling beer with a light roast aftertaste. Nice.

Bottle. Pours a clear dark brown with a 2 finger light tan head. Nose is cocoa, roasted nuts and toasted malts. Taste is light coffee, roasted malts, mild chocolate and a touch of hops in the finish. Light-to-medium mouth feel. Nothing exciting, but it’s an easier drinker.
