Enjoyed on draught at Taco Mac in Suwanee GA. Enjoyed very much. Great IPA taste, smooth, very drinkable. Alcohol well hidden.

22oz bottle from MrBendo. Aroma: Sweet maltiness with a strong caramel note. Pine and citrus hoppiness. Spice and a touch of apple cider. Appearance: Deep amber in color and hazy. Off-white head was small and foamy with decent retention. Fair lacing. Flavor: Sweet caramel maltiness. Hop flavor was nice, but seemed a little light. The usual pine and citrus with hints of resin and grass. Bitterness was medium-high and lingered for a long time. Medium sweet finish with some bitterness carrying over. Palate: Medium-full bodied. Medium carbonation. Light alcohol warming all over mouth. Overall: Didn’t really care for this one. Too sweet and not enough hop flavor.

Hazy amber with a moderate head, solid lacing and retention. Aroma is the usual PNW goodness with pine, grapefruit, citrus and even vanilla. Medium bodied with a somewhat sweet finish and chewy mouthfeel. Enjoyable.

Bomber. Pours crystalline copper with big beige head. The aroma is pine and a little citrus, brown sugar, some sticky fruit, some spice, and bread crust. The flavor is dry and piney, supported by a little bit of fruit-cocktail sweetness. There’s an interesting spiciness in the middle. Oranges and toast come out in the finish. Dry aftertaste. This is a pretty tasty IIPA.

22 oz. bottle pours out a deep orange with a large off white head that shows good duration and fair lace. Big grapefruit hop aroma, with alcohol, caramel, and orange notes also evident. Medium body and carbonation, resinous and slightly sticky mouthfeel. Nice balance between caramel malt and bitter citrus hops with a lingering bitterness in the finish.

Bottle from beerbuzzmontreal. Thanks! Lots of caramel malt in the aroma. Orange and brown body with a big head. Full palate. Lots of malty flavor, light hops, and a slightly medicinal taste. Very big brew.

This has a golden amber color. Medium palate. This has very little aroma and had a very bitter alcohol flavor. It was hard to get past the taste.

2006 Bottle. So, me & The Bride were sampling this and we quickly agreed that it was the best Butte Creek beer we’d ever had, so it’s got that goin’ for it. It is in fact, a pretty good double IPA. And it’s certified organic, so one can enjoy the beer, and revel in the sense of smug self satisfaction that you get, as well.
