Pours a deep copper/burned orange with a full head that laces as it slowly dies. Smells bready, caramel, earthy, and grassy, grapefruit hops. Starts sweet then a rush of citrus rind hops that battle with the malt until finally emerging victorious with a lingering bitter finish. Mildly full in the mouth with good carbonation. ABV is somewhat noticeable but this is a huge beer and its well hidden behind the malt/hop battle.

Shared with Ian, thanks dude for the sweet beer!! Pours dark amber with a thick white head. Big caramel malt and hops aroma. Not a wimpy beer! Very big hop citrus grapefruit aroma. Taste is just a little malty with an explosion of hops that make this big and over the top. A great beer for hop heads.

Bottle from Whole Foods, Sarasota, FL. Poured a hazy copper color with an average frothy off-white head that mostly lasted with fair lacing. Heavy complex citrus hoppy aroma with a alcohol tone. Medium body with a slick texture. Heavy bittersweet flavor with a heavy bittersweet and small alcohol bite finish of moderate duration. This is a standout beer.

Herbal grassy nose with a touch of caramel and pine cleaner. Mildly sweet with a vegetative bitterness on the palate. Iced tea and astringent finish.

Bottle. Orange pour with a white head. Aroma of earthy/grassy hops and caramel malt. Flavors of earthy hops and light caramel. Medium body, bitter with a sweet/bitter finish. Not too shabby.

Unfiltered thick body- looks like Alexander’s LME. very little head, but what is there is a very white head. Very boozy aroma with a very malty aroma. Huge malt taste with a bit of hops. Very thick and coats the tongue. Not a Double IPA, though. Tastes like it has been oaked. $2.99 for 22 oz at Voorhees Discount Liquor

Not much on aroma - just a lot of hops. Pours very cloudy, little head, but excellent form and glass lacing. Taste isn’t overpowering, but this one leaves a reasonable aftertaste. Nothing offensive, just a decent DIPA.

Bottle sampled. Pours hazy light amber with a good size off-white head. Aroma of citrus, caramel, fruit, and piney hops. The flavor is sweet, caramel, citrus, fruit, and finishes with a good amount of bitter hoppiness, alcohol is well masked. Good brew.
