Commercial Description:
Revolution XI, the hop monster that celebrates our 11th Anniversary, is a fat & chewy Imperial IPA that is over the top on hop flavor and aroma. The piney hop character is derived from a blend of five different hop varities: New Zealand Hallertau, Magnum, Chinook, Amarillo, and Simcoe.

Bottle shared by Springslicker. Pours orange with a thin off-white head that leaves good lacing. Aromas of grass, vegetables, with a hoppy background. The flavor has caramel and citrus hop backing. Medium body, light bitterness. Not as impressive as the 10th Anniversary.

22oz bottle. Pours amber with a thin, offwhite head, specks of lace. Smells malty with caramelly dark citrus hops and some alcohol. Tastes malty sweet with caramelly hops, some citrus, some bitterness. Full body, ok carbonation.

Bomber. Poured medium golden with a short-lived cap of eggshell head. The aroma showcased floral hoppage over a pale malt base.. grassy notes and honey were secondary.. rich sweet undertones of caramel and some light fruits.. smelled syrupy and heavy, but rather enticing. The flavor opened with tangy floral bitterness and lightly medicinal/metallic sourness.. warm caramel and pale malts washed over the middle in a smooth fashion with scratchy bitterness on its heels (in the form of peppery spicage and floral notes).. overall bitterness was low-moderate.. finished with a hit of citrus sourness and alcohol warmth. Medium-plus bodied with a few instances impeding the flow.. felt a little past its prime.

Hazy amber color with a medium biege head. Aroma of caramel malt, berries and some piney hops. Flavor of tangy hops and sweet caramel malts.

Bitter malt. Some hops in the aroma, but mostly malt. Flavor is just a little sweet and is balanced by a strange bitterness with flavor I can’t recognize.

HARSH and of grapefruit and metal at first. very good body of caramel that is slick and almost moderatley sweet. very good balance and still intense with the enthusiasts understanding of a good malt presence with none of the overall mistakes that over malting tends to yield. yeasty so much so you almost taste the Belgian cousin that this beer has posessed. this beer settles into a calming brew. tangy and chalky it remains but redifined in stillness. a bad date beer or an overidulgent prick brew. enjoy!

Bomber poured into pint glass. This was a middle of the road DIPA. Sweeter malt flavors with caramel and chewy mouthfeel. Worth drinking again yet others in this style are more enjoyable.

Thanks to Juancho. Drank it in Panajachel, Guatemala. Pours nice orange and hazy. Nice initial taste, however it goes flat at the middle and the end of the mouth.
