Commercial Description:
A full flavored, hoppy rendition of a traditional English ale. A sure delight for the most hop-headed of specialty beer connoisseurs. Imported roasted malts from Belgium are used to add to its deep red color. This ale is dry -hopped to add to it's rich aroma.

Wow, I think I got an old bottle, floaties until I finished this one, a thick, thick, layer on the bottom of the bottle. Pretty good flavor, quite sweet, so that’s a negative for me, but overall a ok beer.

Clear copper body with medium beige head. Aroma is moderately sweet, toffee, orange, light tinny. Taste is moderately sweet, toffee, orange, floral, some earthy. Medium body, some sticky, light chalkiness.

Brown amber color and a thin cream head. The smell is like canned green olives, a bit of malt and nutty notes as well. The mouthfeel is thin and unoffending all thoroughout, and ends with a bit of a roasted feel. Flavor is a good malt dryness and a tiny bit oh hops.

The beer after disemboguing the 12-ounce brown bottle sets in the glass a bemused reddish-orange with a personable head that is creamy in texture and a toothsome light tan in color as it ever so slowly erodes the lace forms a thick blanket to cover the glass. Nose sweet with malt, crisp and clean with an ever so light hint of hops, start is lightly sweet and nicely malted, top is light to moderate in feel. Finish has a spicy hop bite and moderate acidity, dry as a desert bone aftertaste, a nice beer.

Amber apperance with a fairly moderate head. Aroma is cherries, oak, grapes, and plums. The flavor is slightly bitter with some dark fruit and spices. This is a nice beer. Almost like an Irish Red.

This was very good. Strong malts floated across my palate. The hops provided a great balance and a nice bitter finish. Very enjoyable.

Good colour and a nice smell, but not too overwhelming. To go against the label, the beer isn't very hoppy, and sure doesn't please the hop desire by myself!

Very nice flavor here. I enjoyed this one alot and look forward to trying their IPA. A very nice subtle balance of dry hops roasty malts, just like the description says. I have not had that much experience with Butte Creek but look forward to trying more of their line.
