Commercial Description:
A full flavored, hoppy rendition of a traditional English ale. A sure delight for the most hop-headed of specialty beer connoisseurs. Imported roasted malts from Belgium are used to add to its deep red color. This ale is dry -hopped to add to it's rich aroma.

Nice mildly hoppy brew.... Not as hoppy as the label says, but a nice hop flavor. The hop is more English in character.

Seems to be the hoppiest of the Butte Creek beers, and has more backbone than their regular Pale Ale. My tasting notes indicate I liked it, but it really didn’t make a huge impression.

This beer is indeed an "Indian Red Ale". A super-hopped ale that’s pleasant enough. Thin body. I never have cared for Butte Creek beers all that much.

well, first of all, it’s red! Some nice roasted malts, medium bodied up until the watery end. Strong fruity-sweet/sharp hop bite, like an IPA - nice, but a bit overwhelming for a pale ale.

Red color, medium head. Lightly malty hoppy ale. Finish is kind of weak and watery. Aftertaste is bitter.

A good version of a english Ale. Nice red color is followed by a strong but not overwhelming hop presence finishing in a nice bitter tang. Good overall beer.

Huge hop nose with a good maltiness to balance it out. Great dark amber color with a nice rich head. My only problem with this great beer was the lack of body in the flvor. I felt that the malty nose would have given me good body, but that did not happen. Overall though, it was a good drinking experience.

This beer rocks. The commercial description is accurate. I would like to add that if this were categorized correctly, it would be know as an I.R.A. (Indian Red Ale). A beautiful amber beer, with a very mild hint of the malts described. It bites like a I.P.A. Nicely unbalanced. Hey HOPHEADS, this red ale was brewed with you in mind.
