Bottle. Pours a clear amber with a small white head that leaves good lacing. Aroma of caramel, sweet malt, alcohol, toffee, and citrus. Taste is the same as aroma. Medium mouthfeel with a moderate amount of bitterness and slightly warm alcohol. Good.

OK. Here’s an official ticker’s beer. I bought this 22ozer at Bevmo for $4.99, because I want another >10% rating, and because I love strong barleywines. I used to avoid buying beers with ratings below 3.7, but here I am. Pours with a medium head of medium bubbles, which fade very fast, leaving a very clear dark amber liquid. Some malty and higher alcohol heat in the aroma. Certainly needs some aging to mellow it out. Some early hop bitterness. A little sharp and young, but still nice. Pretty drinkable considering the ABV. Leans a little dry. 3.2-3.3.

Bomber. This beer seems to be pretty close to the middle of the pack for beers named "Train Wreck" so I’m looking at it with a bit of trepidation. Pours clear coppery amber with a thick and lacy off-white head. Soft citrus, peach, toffee and grass aroma. The taste is not quite as rewarding - and more in line with the name. The taste starts toffee sweet, but hops are all over the place, and quickly stomp all over anything that’s going on with the malt. Herbal, perfumy, maybe with a little plastic? This one just doesn’t work for me.

Works well on all levels, its got a dark aroma of caramel and high malts. The taste is very herbal and has a dark malts flavor with high alcohol. A must have

The aroma is full of caramel, toasted malt, and pine hops. The appearance is amber with a nice head. The flavor is bitter with lots of caramel malt. The palate is thick. Overall it’s good.

Chalky, chocolate, malty American brown ale aroma. Clipart label, milky film that clings to the side of the glass and turns into legs, fairly dark brown, pretty clear. Orange pith bitter, cereal nuttiness, coniferous/herbal overtones, ABV is reasonably masked. Strong pepper-bitter aftertaste on the front of the tongue, herbal in the high palate, pine-pudding mouth. My overall impression is that this is an Imperial American Brown.

Tallahassee, Fl. - Market Square Liquors - 22 oz bomber. Medium to dark copper pour, khaki colored head, decently thick, good lace. Faint, sprucey aroma, some nuttiness. not as pronounced an aroma as expected. Nutty flavor, fruity - some grapefruit citrus, maple syrup, pretty solid rib sticking BW flavor. Silky smooth mouthfeel, especially for an organic - however, has a bit of a harsh aftertaste. Holds the 10.6% ABV quite well.

22 oz. bottle. Pours a murky, hazy gold. Aroma of honey, dark fruits, and alcohol. Thin mouthfeel, a bit watery. Big citrus hop taste with a nice cookie malt balance. Bitter finish clings to the tongue.
