Tastes citrussy with some mild rosey elements. Bitter finish. Pretty tasty for a pale lager. spkldhenlvr24 (466), Newburgh/Buffalo, New York, USA

| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | May 2, 2005 (bottle) Pours a clear watery yellow. Light gold in glass with frothy medium sized head. Smell is fruity, sweet, and like feet. Flavor is sour at first then bitter. Body is light and watery as expected. Probably won’t look for this one again. kujo9 (1078), North Ridgeville, Ohio, USA
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 5/5 | 3/10 | 5/5 | 7/20 | Apr 1, 2005 12 oz bottle: Pours clear golden w/ a short lived white head. Sweet grainy malt aroma, very slight hint of fruitiness, and no hops. Well balanced aroma. Flavor is basically the same, but I think the bottle is a little aged since it came w/ the same beers as the Olde Buzzard Pale. Not really cardboardy, but not as snappy in the flavor as a golden should be. Mostly clean flavor, but bland & old. Dusty if you will. Light body, medium carbonation, smooth. Nothing exciting, possibly a good lawnmower beer for summertime if fresh. rudolf (1783), Buffalo, New York, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jan 30, 2005 Clear light gold, frothy head w. decent lacing. Herban nose. Kind of smells like the bean burritos at this place I used to work. Herbal flavor, very easy drinking. Finish is a bit too herbal for me, like a tea that steeped a bit too long. bobaidan (366), Farmington, Connecticut, USA
