Delicate flavors in a well balanced ale and its from Massachusetts! I trust Buzzards bay to anyone who likes it.

The mouthfeel and appearance seem proper for this style. Flavor begins smooth but sweet, with a noticeable adjunct presence, and ends strangely undefined-- almost fruity but with a hopless bitterness. Has the potential, but not a well-balanced beer.

2004 bottle. Pours a clear hay yellow, with a decent white head. Smells tart and lightly spiced with hops. Moderately bitter aroma. Flavor is quite hoppy, one-sidedly so, but it still tastes good enough for a session ale. Little malt to speak of, no real complexity but a solid flavor and less wateriness than expected. Finishes mildly clean and neutral. This brewery sure does like low gravity pale beers.

Clear, golden ale. No memorable head. The nose and flavor are very light and nondescript. Light, watery, fizzy body.

Pours light golden with a thin head that completely disappears. Aroma is very light with barely some maltiness. Flavor has very little to offer; less offensive than most macros but there’s not much more in terms of malt or hops. Very thin. This has barely more flavor than, say, Budweiser. For the price, I would rather drink a bottled macro than this.

This beer is Buzzards Bays worst beer. There is really nothing to it. It tastes just like any other macro ale out there. Its a waste of time.

clear, amber color, hoppy, piney aroma, slightly fruity; bland, watery taste, bitterness is not fresh and detracts from the beer’s taste, light hints of piney, hoppy flavor, a disappointing beer

Initial aroma has some flowery bouquet, but that quickly turns into a very grainy and boring aroma. Pours transparent blonde with little white head. Start is smooth and watery without much flavor. Finish is tru to form with the smalest amount of hoppiness which is cascade.
