Pale golden in color with a white head. Neutral aroma with a corny flavor. Non-existant body/mouthfeel. No malt or hop notes to be found. Just bad beer. | 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Dec 14, 2002 Probably my second least favorite from this brewer. It’s got a nice tangy finish, but nothing else about this beer really appeals to me. It’s not bad, but nothing I’m real into, dawgs. vwsteggie (684), Paxton, Massachusetts, USA
| 1.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 1/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Dec 1, 2002 Light golden color that is slightly cloudy. Also has an odd smell to it. Taste is light, bitter and finishes with the same bitterness. Overall this is not a very tasty beer that I would not buy again... Hopistotle420 (1178), Amherst, Massachusetts, USA
| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Nov 19, 2002 White head. Pale light yellow golden hue. Grainy husky hue. Oh man, terribly bland. I dont even want to finish this nasty brew. If i wanted carbonated urine i’d make it myself. dirtymike (2018), Manchester, New Hampshire, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Aug 4, 2002 Giving craft brewed beer a bad name.STOP IT! Why is it that most breweries feel that a golden ale has to be the cousin of the bland lager? VENOM (941), Connecticut, USA
| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Jun 13, 2002 Clear light gold. Super thin tiny bubbled stark white head. Hint of carbonation. Toasted corn husk aroma, not much else. Ooh, I can’t wait. Soft and mushy with a grilled corn husk flavor, mild hop bitterness and dry feel in the aftertaste. Abrasive tasting. Light bodied and watery actually. Finishes grainy and with a slightly redeeming citric hop character. Cascades? Maybe a dog named Cascade passed by the fermenter. So glad these guys are spreading their distribution throughout Connecticut. noer1 (109), Massachusetts, USA
