Poured a lighter and see through yellow color with an averaged sized white head. Lighter aromas of spices and grass. Flavors of the same. Thin and watery. Kinda of reminded me of a watered down version of their lager I had earlier in the night. CaptainCougar (5487), Rockville, Maryland, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Mar 13, 2006 Very clear pale golden color with a sticky-lacing thin white head. Very mild, lightly sweet and floral hoppy aroma has some grainy notes. Thin, watery body has some grainy pale malty sugars, soft carbonation and light earthy hoppy bitterness. A very drinkable beer and fairly true to style, but bland and uninteresting. hopscotch (5483), Vero Beach, Florida, USA

| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Aug 16, 2005 Pours gold with a thin white head. Smells of pepper, chewable vitamins and cookies. Tastes citrussy with some mild rosey elements. Bitter finish. Pretty tasty for a pale lager. Tmoney99 (4743), Cincinnati, Ohio, USA
| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Oct 12, 2005 Bottle from sampler. Light straw color with an average frothy white head that diminished quickly. Light grassy aroma. Light body with a thin texture. Light sweet flavor with a small bitter finish of short duration. muzzlehatch (4427), Burlington, Vermont, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Jan 20, 2004 Bottled. Clear golde color, small lasting white head. Some nice caramel maltiness evident in the nose, but only if you let it warm a bit; too cold and there's a nasty soapiness evident. Not a whole lot to say about the rest: more body and malt than macroswill, but little hops. Yawn.

| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Dec 13, 2003 Light gold color. Medium white head. Aroma is fruity, grainy and sweet. A light bodied golden ale. Malts are mild, fruity and sweet. Hops are very mild and may be slightly bitter. This beer is weak and watery even for a golden ale. It’s light and refreshing, and better than Coors. There is really nothing objectionable with this beer, except it almost total lack of flavor. It’s just so mild there is almost no there, there. Mouthfeel is thin. Finish is clean. Aftertaste is very slightly bitter. ClarkVV (3578), Allston, Massachusetts, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jun 21, 2004 2004 bottle. Pours a clear hay yellow, with a decent white head. Smells tart and lightly spiced with hops. Moderately bitter aroma. Flavor is quite hoppy, one-sidedly so, but it still tastes good enough for a session ale. Little malt to speak of, no real complexity but a solid flavor and less wateriness than expected. Finishes mildly clean and neutral. This brewery sure does like low gravity pale beers.
