| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | May 13, 2004 12 oz bottle. Very clear medium amber, little head...bit cidery-looking. Fragile malty nose, hint of caramel. Pleasant full body, caramel, a little smoky bitterness; but rather watery and brackish in the finish. Another mediocre, just drinkable beer from this oh-so-average brewery. ClarkVV (3578), Allston, Massachusetts, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jun 21, 2004 2004 bottle. Pours a caramelly, rusty brown with some light red-gold tinges. Good white head, lots of bubbles and clear. Aroma of earthiness, yeast, some dry caramel and toffee and a shot of dry grainy hops. Flavor is lightly sweet, a bit metallic, texture is slightly coarse and moderately carbonated. Watery, medium body, with some hints of brown/red fruits. Average. | 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 17/20 | Jul 7, 2003 It says it's inspired by Martha's Vinyard and Nantucket. i've lived in Massachusetts my whole life (well, except fot now) and i've never been to the islands, so i can't rightly say if this is a proper representation of the Vineyard and 'Tucket. nice somewhat hoppy aroma to it. the flavor isn't overwhelming at all...in fact it's more subtle. i agree with the description in that it is very smooth. | 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Dec 14, 2002 A pretty decent beer from buzzard’s bay. I’m guessing this is an amber or golden ale. It’s not especially hoppy, and pretty light bodied. A decent beer for heatwave drinking, but I wouldn’t make a habit out of this style. sfontain (507), Columbus, Ohio, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | May 16, 2004 Pours amber with a small, white head that disappears. Aroma is pleasant and malty with raisins and caramel. Flavor is surprisingly fruity; malty with light raisins, and light hops in the finish. Watery. Not bad, not great.
