Commercial Description:
"Our Lager (Dortmund-style) is brewed with pale, Munich and Vienna malts and is moderately hopped with Hallertauer hops. The Dortmund style evolved in the steel-making town that bares the name and is a hearty lager with great heft in the mid-palate. The hops balance the malt but not overtly so. Canadian 2-Row Pale Malt Durst Munich and Vienna malt Magnum - Bittering hops Hallertauer - Flavor & aroma hops ABV: 4.8% IBUs: 35"

A standard but strong entry into the lager category. Drank at brewery. Obviously fresh and surprisingly hoppy with some malty-ness to it. A nice beer but I’ll stile with their pale ale

12 oz bottle. Pours a light copper with a fizzy white head, and hardly any lace. Aroma is slightly cracker like, light corn hints, some bready malts and light herbal hops. Flavor is lightly sweet and malty, but moslty cracker-like with light herbal hop hints. Finishes crisp and dry- pretty clean overall, but nothing there, and may be a bit old.

12 oz bottle, via jjpm74. Pours a clear light gold with a one finger fine bubbled creamy white head. Aroma is of clean bready malt with a light grassy hoppiness. Flavor is a little harsh to me personally. The malts come across as very husky and grainy and the hops are barely present at all. Mouthfeel is light bodied with moderate fizzy carbonation. Overall, not the best, and something that I wouldn’t purchase again.

Another bottle compliments of bob. I hope you like the porter I left for you. Shiny light gold pour with a one finger white head. Lemon and butter nose, just hopping with diacetyl, wow a truly legendary buttery nose. I can’t get past how much this is exactly like popcorn at the movies smells with extra butter topping. Wow. Flavor is yeasty butter, and light lemon citrus. A lot of banana happening here too. An odd little lager that is not unpleasant. Lingering buttered banana in the finish. It is the kind of banana flavor found in packs of laffy taffy. I really wish I had internet access to see if this is the same tastes others got off this. I actually kind of like the yeasty banana flavor, but the over the top butter is taking away from it. Ap-4 ar-3 tas-6 pal-3 ov-11

Pours light amber with a tall but a short-lived white head. Aroma initially floral and malt. A bit of fruit and bread in the taste, bitter floral hop flavor after the initial sweetness. Nice carbonation, not too heavy or light.

Pours a pale clean golden with light carbonation and a thin-lacing, airy white head. Aroma is mildly, sweet and toasty with some graininess and noble hoppy presence. Body starts with a mild light sweetness, turning more dry and bitter toward a crisp, authentic finish. Fairly true to style, it’s just not that exciting of a beer.

12oz bottle acquired in trade. Poured a medium and clear golden color with an averaged sized white head. Aromas of grass, citrus, and I get some spiciness. Tastes of citrus and grass. Like the tastes, the body was a litte on the weak and watery side. Lively body as well. Not one of my favorite styles, but still drinakable.

(bottle - 12 oz) Clear yellowish/gold with a thin white head. Bitter hoppy and grassy aroma with some lemon underneath it all perhaps. The taste begins slightly sweet with some nice hops after the sweetness and a crisp and quenching finish. Kind of bitter, but not too overpowering. A nice warm weather session beer.
