Commercial Description:
"Our Lager (Dortmund-style) is brewed with pale, Munich and Vienna malts and is moderately hopped with Hallertauer hops. The Dortmund style evolved in the steel-making town that bares the name and is a hearty lager with great heft in the mid-palate. The hops balance the malt but not overtly so. Canadian 2-Row Pale Malt Durst Munich and Vienna malt Magnum - Bittering hops Hallertauer - Flavor & aroma hops ABV: 4.8% IBUs: 35"

Pours a medium-dark transparent golden color with a small white head that disappears. Aroma is quite sweet with perhaps a floral note, but it’s a little unusual. A bit malty up front but more dominated by the hops which are actually pretty bitter. Feels very thin. Overall, for a beer named "Lager," this was surprisingly flavorful, but it’s still not great.

This beer is watered down, just like every other Buzzards Bay beer I've had. Simple taste with little to no head. It's not really worth a try unless you like Buzzards or something.

clear, golden color, light, fresh hoppy aroma, piney; slightly bitter, hoppy taste, somewhat watery, a refreshing beer, not overly tasty nor aromatic

Pour is a transparent straw with a small quickly dissipating white head. Aroma is faint with traces of spicy yeast. Start is very perfumey, like my great aunt's. Middle is very carbonated with a hoppy bitter finish. I like the finish, but the start is sort of funky.

Ugh... not a great beer. If you're into a sour wake-me-up kind of hello, its true. Otherwise, not pint worthy.

small diminishing head, very slight malt aroma, watery and flat. Needed carbonation. Maybe it was old, not impressed.

Bottled, Cherbourg, Massachusetts. Golden, fizzy, larger or was it just colour water with ethanol. Not much or a beer really. Looks good, in fact it looks great as have all the beers but it seems to be all superficial. Good looks but no depth in flavour.

ah yes, another light-medium golden beer, with minimal head. aroma is very buttery, slight hoppy, with minimal cardboard quality. flavor has some cardboard, some fruit and a little hop quality.
