| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Sep 8, 2003 Pours with a pale golden body topped by a thin white head with some lacing. Slightly grainy malt aroma with corn notes and a slight hop balance. Slightly sweet malt flavor well balanced with hops and a slight caramel note. Light bodied and very smooth. | 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Jul 12, 2003 Lovely orange-yellow color. The color is the best thing since there is not much going on with this beer. Malty smell. The taste is malty as well, with some strange flowery notes that seem out of place. The palate is smooth and the beer is drinkable if not memorable. Volgon (2490), Manchester, New Hampshire, USA
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Jul 8, 2003 Light clear orange color, not much aroma, sharp mid-taste. Ringwood?! Not much besides a watery lager. Much better than budcoorsmills. ericnixon (719), Northampton, Massachusetts, USA

Pretty good. not amazing. i have to say i liked their other beers better than this one. this one seemed too nondescript to me. Huge head and a lightly malty taste. muzzlehatch (4427), Burlington, Vermont, USA
| 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | May 30, 2003 Hmmm the only "local" beer at the dull bar that was blocks from our motel in Great Barrington MA, and I'm at a loss to explain all of the good reviews here. Maybe it's because I'd just had an excellent brewpub experience or something, but this was really boring, weak, somewhat ricey, with no nose to speak of and nothing on the finish. | 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 5/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | May 11, 2003 Large fluffy white head, that dissipates somewhat quickly. A crystal clear, brillant golden color with moderately high carbonation. Smell is a faint malty sweetness. Flavor was somewhat malty with a touch of hop bitterness to it, with zero aftertaste. Not bad at all but nothing special.

| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | May 6, 2003 This was the best of the bunch in the mixed 6 I had from this brewery and it didn't shine very brightly. The color - a nice golden caramel - was very appealing and the aroma had a nice hint of spicy hops. Some diacytel in the flavor profile accompanied by a mild malt twang and hop notes in the finish. More drinkable than the Golden and Pale Ale, but nothing I'd want on a regular basis. Gotta give this brewery credit for their involvement in farm preservation in MA along with their efforts to grow some or all of the ingredients in the beer on their land. Now if they could just improve on their finished product...
