A bit of fresh hops. Pours a brilliant rich sunshine golden, with a frothy well-lacing, ivory head. Flavor is delectable. Satisfying, toothy pils malt holds up to a snappy crisp edge of pils malt and a nice cool lagered quality. Crisp, clean, friendly, and fresh. This is a very well done lager. Some deeper wheat biscuit, honey, and grass notes rise from the bottom. Very enjoyable. beerseer (51), Lewiston, Maine, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Apr 24, 2005 (bottle) Pours flaxen in color and comes to rest in the glass with a yellow-orange hue and a large white head (slightly fizzy). Complex smell, yeasty, a little doughy, and fruity (grapes). Lively carbonation makes it squirm on the palate. Feels smooth, dry, and crisp. Bready taste with a barely perceptible bitterness in the beginning and a slight sour tartness at the end. A good, well-balanced lager overall. Jimmylib (169), old bridge, New Jersey, USA

The aroma and flavor are both malty with notes of butterscotch, butter and light herbs.
Decently balanced by the diverse hops. Medium-bodied with a syrupy/sticky mouthfeel and fizzy carbonation. Short, bitter-sweet, creamy finish. Good stuff... for a helles. Vac (2394), San Diego, California, USA
