It pours clear light amber with some head and no lacing. Malt, grassy hop and earth in the nose. Earthy and grassy flavor hop flavor with some malt in the background. A little thin in body but an okay beer. CaptainCougar (5520), Rockville, Maryland, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Feb 16, 2006 Pours a lightly-effervescent transparent copper orange with a frothy, clingy off-white head. Mildly grainy, buttery, and sweet aroma has a touch of oxidation and a hint of English hops. Body starts with some mild earthy sweetness with a touch of bitterness toward a thinner dull finish. Doesn’t really have any off or unpleasant flavors, just pretty uninteresting. hopdog (5609), Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jan 27, 2006 12oz bottle acquired in trade. Poured a medium and a slightly hazy amber color with a huge (4.5 finger) sized off white frothy head. Aromas of caramel, pine and a little fruity. Tastes of caramel, very light pine, and some citrus. Somewhat of a lively body (as also evident with the huge head). IMtheOptimator (1161), Bethel, Connecticut, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jan 20, 2006 Poured an effervescent light amber with a small fizzy off-white head. Aroma of some pine hops, some lemon, but of floor cleaner. Taste has a nice bitter pine hop bit with some acidity to it, with a dry toffee finish. Sort of bland and average but nothing too overtly disagreeable about it. BeerHawk (1175), Huntsville, Alabama, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Jan 13, 2006 Bottle from trade with jjpm74. Thanks John! Bottling number 6.238 (I think? Definitely something .238 but looked like a 6). Poured an amber color with an off white head that fully dissipated. Sweet malts and fruits in the aroma. The flavor also had sweet malts, maybe caramel, and a hoppy ending. Medium body and easy drinking. AndrewM (126), Waco (Buckle of the Bible Belt), Texas, USA

Aroma is a touch sweet. Flavor is a touch piney bitter. Palate is, well, average for a pale ale. CamdenD (606), Madrid, Spain
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Dec 26, 2005 Average all around -- description says ESB, but not bitter/hoppy enough for that, it’s more of an EPA/IPA of the Greene King variety, relatively tasteless yet drinkable and some body. Only nice part was the quite pleasant malt aftertaste. Bottle jimbowood (956), Athens, Georgia, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Dec 3, 2005 Pours copper colored with minimal head and lacing. Aroma is mildly sweet with English hops in the nose. Flavor and palate are a little watered down. I wouldn’t have given it a 3 if the Dawgs hadn’t been whippinn’ LSU as we speak, therefore my rating is a little skewed.
