Apr 10, 2005 Poured a nice copper color with a creamy white head on top. Aroma is of some caramelly malts and some herbal hops. Doughy malt in the flavor, mellow hoppy finish. Medium bodied. Quite easy to drink and pretty enjoyable.

Mar 31, 2005 12 oz bottle, not sure of the best before date, 3.99/6 @ Acme Hudson: Light coppery brown w/ a lasting off white head. Initial aroma is canned stewed tomatoes suggesting well past it’s prime. There were some stale malt aromas as it warmed with hints of caramel and musty old herbal hops. Flavor was pretty much the same. Tomato juice and stale. I hate canned tomatoes, or any tomoatoes while I’m on the subject. Lighter body, not watery, smooth m/f, med. carb. I’m not quite sure what this tasted like fresh, and I’ll re rate if I get the chance, but this one was quite nasty since it was obviously way out of date. It just goes to show that you get what you pay for some times.

Jan 30, 2005 Nose is crutons (!?!) , somewhat english with toasted malt. Flavor is herbal, doughy. Cleanish herbal finish.

Jan 22, 2005 Had this one on tap in East Providence. Bland aroma, little head retention. Metallic flavour, more malty than bitter. Haven’t had many american pale ales but certainlyl hope this isn’t a good representation. Cheers!

Jan 22, 2005 Golden orange color, light to medium bodied, mildly bitter. I could see this as a session ale in the summer, drinking in the afternoon outside on a deck.

Jan 8, 2005 decent beer, nice flavor, had a medium gold color to it, like fools gold, not a bad rtaste though. definatley worth the go, enjoy, cheers
