| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Dec 9, 2004 This appealing golden brew pours brilliantly clear with a tall, sticky, off white head.
It has a nicely complex aroma to it, some yeast, some sweet malt and a bit of orange that come off rather well.
The body is a bit thin, but the flavor is a pleasant light sweet malt. Not quite the Pale Ale the name suggests, and maybe not quite an ESB either, but this is certainly a refreshing drinkable brew that I would drink again. Loddeer (171), USA

I ended up passing out before finishing this one, which means it was not worth the hassle. I will give it a little credit though, there are much worse bitters out there. | 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Nov 17, 2004 Draft - Poured a golden amber in color with almost no head and low carbobonation overall. Aroma is mild of hops with some malty bread/yeast mixed in. Flavor is not strong and surprisingly devoid of anything distinctive. Some unidentifiable flavors that confuse the palate rather than add to the experience. Finish is mildly bitter and clean. Easy drinking, but truely unremarkable. Earlier Rating: 7/18/2004 Total Score: 3.1 Draft at VT Brewers Fest - Orange amber in color with a n off white head that quickly disappeared. Flavor is strongly of hops which produce a medium, but not overpowering bitterness. Some maltiness t balance it out. Finnish was medium bitter and fairly long. Overall a pretty decent beer, Drew (2410), Kent, Ohio, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Oct 21, 2004 Copper golden - nice appealling color - short head and nice lacing. Aroma is floral hops and malt. Nice bready malt taste, some fruit notes, with an almost assertive hop riding along the edges and sticking around at the end. Not bad.
