Nose is lightly sweet malt; crisp and clean, start has fair malt presence, top cadaverous. Finish is benign in its acidity, a slight touch of hops, dry aftertaste seals off a very forgettable beer, but in all fairness, a product of its hot and humid environment.

| 1.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/20 | Sep 8, 2009 Bottle… Clear, straw-colored lager with a small, fizzy, white head. The aroma is pure skunk – my wife smelled it from across the kitchen – with a little lemon thrown in. Light to medium-bodied with a slick mouthfeel and tingly carbonation. The flavor is actually pleasant, much to my surprise. Trends toward the sweet side of balance, but offers light acidity and mild bitterness. Crisp, clean finish. | 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Aug 28, 2009 Cereal, slightly skunked Euro-tropical lager aroma. Very pale, clear, decent fluffy white head, the logo on the painted clear bottle looks like it ought to be on the side of some Canadian Football League helmet. Constancia’s strong suit is definitely its painted bottles. Bitter, pretty dry, slightly toasted, grainy. Nothing remarkable, not terrible, just doesn’t aspire to much. Medium-light body, but has fair mouthfeel. Vertical Bacon Strips (903), Edmonton, Alberta, Canada

Why did I buy a six pack? Typical pale yellow, no head. Smelt of grains, sweet stuff, some skunk, swill. Taste is crap - watery, grains, too sweet. Thin and ick-o. Cirrhosis (623), Edmonton, Alberta, Canada
| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 1/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Jun 2, 2009 This beer poured a nasty light cloudy piss colour. It gave off a very light sweet metallic sent that gave this beer some hope of being drinkable, it turned out to be drinkable with a sweet malty flavour. Lots of carination that made this beer some what refreshing. It was drinkable but would never want to drink it again." SudsMcDuff (1703), was CapeTown,SA-now Houston, Texas, USA

Pours a almost clear light golden with a tight soapy white head - attractive painted bottle bumps appearance up to a 2. Harsh aroma which brings to mind Copenhagen snuff. Flavor does not present much to write home about. Some of that same snuff flavor is found with some bland, non-descript lager flavor thrown in there. Mouthfeel is thin and harsh and leaves you breathless due to the dryness. Didn’t expect much - so not disappointed. This 12 pack will last a while in the garage fridge. Do all pale lagers from Central America taste the same? Gold in color with a slight bitter finish. This is what I would call a beach beer. Great on a warm summer day.
