The aroma has some light toffee and boiled potatoes. There are also notes of fall leaves. Sweet oranges and some hints of Tootsie Rolls are the main flavors. There are also some notes of toast. A pleasant brew. wcampbell (577), Central, South Carolina, USA

Tasted like a sweet octoberfest. Way too sweet and sugary. All caramel malt flavor. No hops or any traces of bitterness. Not especially drinkable or refreshing. Not too offensive or anything, just not very good. stpetefl (6), Saint Augustine, Florida, USA does not count | 5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 10/10 | 5/5 | 10/10 | 5/5 | 20/20 | May 19, 2008 Great Winn-Dixie beer! I have been all over the world in the Army from Germany to Korea and this is one of the best Ambers I have ever had. This is my second favorite beer behind Alaskan Amber. Caramel flavor with a subtle malt finish. Very few hops here, but if it was done in the marzen style as the commercial description indicates, I suppose that’s right on. It was ok but not exceptional. Nice colour, clarity, head and nose. Candied malts an caramel. Taste is well carbed with fruits and caramel, brown sugar and malts....definitely a better brew than the other offerings at the Winn-Dixie which living in the "Dixie" south is never a win. changeup45 (791), Orlando, Florida, USA

Tastes malty with hints of caramel. Mild hop bite and sour. Doesn’t seem well balanced but it’s not bad. I’d have it again but not sure I’d go searching for it. I saw they have a Lager available so I will give that one a try as well. fluffy (229), Florida, USA

It has a full flavor start with a very smooth ending.
