I have been all over the country and parts of europe being in the coast guard and this is probably one of the best amber ales I have had. It has a full flavor start with a very smooth ending.

Great Winn-Dixie beer! I have been all over the world in the Army from Germany to Korea and this is one of the best Ambers I have ever had. This is my second favorite beer behind Alaskan Amber.

Nice and smooth. Very sweet smelling, with the flavor, aroma, and texture extremely amazing for around $1 a bottle. No shame in that if you want a decent beer fairly cheap Cable Car is the way to go.

Poured a light copper orange. Aroma of sweet biscuits right out of the oven. Hints of citrus zest. Little to no head when poured. Taste of biscuits and fresh bread. great finish and very refreshing. A spring to summer beer.

Very nice aroma with sweetness and some unique scent that I cannot place. Flavor is similar with malty sweetness backed by not overpowering hops. Tasty.

12 ounce bottle- poured out a warm orange-gold with a small yellow head that did not last. Aroma was malt with a slight floral undertone. Very smooth palate, crisp malt taste with a slight sweetness. Enjoyed this, my 99th.

Bought at Winn-Dixie in July of 2007. Pours a medium to dark golden with a small white head that quickly disappears. Smell is sweet and carmely, with a mild bittering hop presence. Taste is carmel malt; quite sweet but very nicely balanced with some a bit of hops in the aftertaste. Finishes rather dry. Quite nice for an inexpensive ($6) six pack.

Seems to be a general Winn-Dixie consensus over here.....actually the brew is pretty good. Nice colour, clarity, head and nose. Candied malts an caramel. Taste is well carbed with fruits and caramel, brown sugar and malts....definitely a better brew than the other offerings at the Winn-Dixie which living in the "Dixie" south is never a win.
