changeup45 (577), Orlando, Florida, USA Apr 10, 2008 Pours a copper amber tinted color topped with a lot of lacing. A very good looking beer. Tastes malty with hints of caramel. Mild hop bite and sour. Doesn’t seem well balanced but it’s not bad. I’d have it again but not sure I’d go searching for it. I saw they have a Lager available so I will give that one a try as well.
cbeers21 (408), Miami, Florida, USA Sep 27, 2008 Hearty malt presence, caramel vanilla character is nice fairly well balanced and and the body is pretty quenching -really not awful all together. rbod (25), Davie, Florida, USA Aug 15, 2008 This was a decent ale. It had an extremely quick finish. Not a beer that stays with you. I won’t search this one out, but then again, I wouldn’t turn one down. FatTony (111), Augusta, Georgia, USA Jul 20, 2008 12 ounce bottle- poured out a warm orange-gold with a small yellow head that did not last. Aroma was malt with a slight floral undertone. Very smooth palate, crisp malt taste with a slight sweetness. Enjoyed this, my 99th. darn1207 (329), Tallahassee, Florida, USA Jul 19, 2008 amber pour. sweet caramel malt aroma. also a sweet malt taste with just a tiny bit of hops on the finish. not a typical amber taste. not the worst every, but definitely not something I’d seek out. mountainforest (107), Edinburgh, Scotland Jun 14, 2008 not bad. flavorful. a wee bit syrupy. marzen style? no head. s big bubbly. great price (Winn Dixie). first taste fathers day 2008. quality label and brand.
