| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Jul 4, 2002 Creamy texture with a fluffy nitrogen-induced head. The flavor and feel in mouth degraded during my drinking, ultimately becoming unpleasantly flat. Weak aroma and flavor--like other cream beers and nitro-boosted beers, this is all about appearance and texture. Wizzard99 (32), Australia

Remind me again why we’re supposed to hate those things so much??? Anyway, the beer is just average. A bit bitter and maybe not so creamy once the head settles down. | 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jun 24, 2002 Kind of flat once it got out of the can, but still a very good beer. A little watery with a light cream flavor, but not nearly as strong in that department as Wexford’s. A good beer that I’m always happy to watch after pooring, and just as happy to drink. krisfleet (130), Sharon, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 5/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 15/20 | Jun 20, 2002 Not nearly as good in a can, even a draught can, than it is right out of the tap. I may of gotten a bad batch, but my draught can seemed oftly watered down. It seems to have lost a lot of the flavor that I remember the Caffrey’s on tap having. It seems to have lost a lot of creamyness in a can. Still one of the best heads I have ever seen on a beer though. Drew (2410), Kent, Ohio, USA
