Wal (5), Berlin, Germany does not count Sep 3, 2008 Lived in Korea 5 years and I really tried hard to find a good beer, never did.
Cafri has to be one of the worst generic unremarkable tasting beers in the world, it make budweiser seem like the nectar from the gods. There is no smell, just of dirty glass. Only good to swill down spicy food with and mostly drunk by older korean mean who are trying to demonstrate their youth in the hope of meeting a younger women befoe giving up and going to a brothel brewssuds (10), British Columbia, Canada Aug 24, 2008 Unremarkable. Pretty generic macro lager (and I even drank it in Korea, which should make it taste better!) patrick767 (1449), fort wayne, Indiana, USA Jun 9, 2008 bottle - Hey, it says this beer inspires young people to "break out of their routine lifestyle and experience extraordinary freedom"? All that in a beer? Wow, I’m excited!
Yeah... then I actually tried the beer. It’s fizzy pale yellow with a rapidly fading white head. It delivers a weak adjunct laden cereal malt and boasts a watery body. Lousy. jerryballoono (32), Urgup, Turkey Dec 6, 2007 Almost thought my 330ml bottle was off as unusually for a Korean beer this pale yellow lager actually had a hint of beer to it ! very very thin with a malty nose & lacking in charecter has a thin short lasting white head, excessive carbonation a a cabbagy hint to the malty hopless taste. ultraspank (856), Dublin, Ohio, USA Oct 25, 2007 Had this while satisfying the Itis at Hoolala with my bud Robert after bar hopping in Seoul. Nose of sulpher, grain, grass, and flowers. Pours a sparkling pale yellow. Brief flash of a white fizzy head with no lace. Tastes watery, soapy and floral - that’s all I can say. Light, creamy and fizzy body. What really sucks is that I paid 4000 Won for this trash. Oh well, there’s $4 I’ll never get back.
