MiP (6029), Flensburg, Germany Sep 2, 2008 Bottle, 4.5%. Slightly shitty aroma, not too unpleasant though. Clear amber colour. Very small white head. Weak grain flavour, faint hint of butter. Slightly dry finish. All in all a bland beer. berkshire_john (1106), Bracknell, Berkshire, England Aug 12, 2008 500ml bottle from Dobbies Garden Centre, Reading. Amber with a thin white, head; heavily carbonated with fine bubbles giving a lively
mouth feel; some honey on the aroma, but also musty grain; thin with a honeyed sweetness, and a sour and dry finish. Not very impressive.
oh6gdx (6343), Vaasa, Finland Aug 5, 2008 Bottled. Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is harsh grains, vegetables and fruits. Flavour is fruity, a bit egy and flowery hops. KimJohansen (4296), Copenhagen V, Denmark Aug 3, 2008 Clear golden with medium white head. Sweet fruity aroma with honey notes. Sweet flavor with cardboard notes and mild hoppy notes leading to a somewhat bitter finish. highlandlad (1200), Sydney, Australia Apr 24, 2008 Moderate summer quencher. Seemed a bit muddy and ill-defined, like a cheap cask wine. Fizzy-looking gold with a shallow, rocky head. Very sweet and fruity aroma - almost sickly in its fructose intensity. Tinned peach juice and cookie dough. Medium bodied and quite oily. IN the mouth, it’s a whole other bag of fruit. Peach juice again, with a squeeze of blackcurrant. Missing a middle before and acidic, quenching finish. Lacks definition. (500ml bottle courtesy of my old man - thanks Pop. BB 28/6/09)
