Bottle - Amber copper with small off white head. Light carbonation with caramel, malts and a hint of fruit on the nose. Strong it is not but smooth and drinkable I would say it is.

2009-10-09. Red amber body with a good sized foamy beige head. 3+ Mild aroma, malt, touch of toasted malt, muted roast/cocoa character. 6+ Flavour is similar with a dry malty core, light bitterness, sweet caramel malt and dry toasty touches. Muted cocoa or roast undertones. 6+ Average palate is smooth but light carbonation makes it feel a touch thin. Pleasant, but just okay. Bottle from Wine Centre, Kilkenny

Bottle from the Dog Days of Summer tasting. Reddish amber with a small head. Fruity with some nuts, grass, and the distinctive taste of Marris Otter malt. Not bad.

Brewed in Scotland..... Pours copper in color with a thin white head. Aroma of malts, brown sugar and caramel. Taste is much of the same with the addition of soap. Mouthfeel is medium in body with some dryness in the finish. Not bad, pretty drinkable !!

Bottle. Medium high fluffy but lasting white head. Clear dark brown body. Mild roasted barley malt aroma with a light touch of fruit and caramel. Relatively high carbonated fruity caramel malty flavor with a short bitter aftertaste.
