On tap at Calapooia in Albany, OR--Poured a golden body with a small white head. Hardy (for a pale) hops presence with a subtle thin malt underpinning. Bitter astringent finish. Highly sessionable.

Taster - Calapooia Brewing Co. - Albany, OR
Aroma – Mild hoppy aroma with a light malt backing.
Appearance – Gold in color, Thin head and clear.
Flavor – Mild malt flavor with a strong hops in the background.
Palate – Nice Mouthfeel, good texture with a dry finish.
Overall – Good Pale ale this would be perfect for the working in the yard day. Not overly filling so you can drink tons.

On tap at the brewery. Pours golden yellow with a soft white head. I think this has chinook hops in it also cause it had a bit of the aroma that I don’t care for so much. Hops went from citrus to a light herbal hop quality. Body was lighter on the palate, just a small touch of malts for the big NW pale hop additions.
