On tap at Hop Valley. Going to assume it was this stout since the reviews match up more than the other stout from Calapooia on here. Poured out deep brown with a huge tan head and solid lacing left behind. Aroma was hefty with coffee, some chocolate and some roasted malts. Flavor was fairly heavy bodied coffee with some cream, chocolate and roast. Pretty solid beer, better than I was anticipating.

on tap-pours a thin light brown head and black color. Aroma is dark malt-chocolate, molasses, some sweet. Taste is dark malt—chocolate, molasses/some coffee-some sweet, oatmeal, some acidic/hops bitterness. Mild carbonation.

On tap at the brewery. While the name.. well could be taken the wrong way, the beer was very good. In my opinion the best beer on their year-round menu. Pours very dark brown with a strong beige head. Big roasty chocolate flavors, hints of plum and coffee toward the finish. Rich and smooth stout with a great balance to it.
