May 28, 2008 Bottle at tasting at Chris Fischer’s (from Liars Club) house. Pours with an amber red body topped by a medium thick head with a good amount of lacing. IT’s slightly sweet and malty with a nice bitter hop note and a light roastiness. Full bodied and warming.

Dec 8, 2007 On tap at the 2007 Holiday Ale Festival. Pours dark mahogany with light khaki head. Sweet melted caramel body, light coffee note, with a strong floral citrus hop finish. Grapefruity and a bit spicy on the hop profile.

Dec 8, 2007 At Holiday Ale Festival as well as Bailey’s Taproom in Portland, OR 2007--This wonderful winter beer poured a deep brown-amber body with a one-finger off-white head. Nose of floral Simcoe hops (yum!) and sinewy and boisterous malts. This is a Northwest beer through and through and perfect for the winter months!
