Ungstrup (10824), Frederiksberg, Denmark Jul 3, 2008 A golden beer wtih a thick white head. The aroma is sweet matly with notes of yeast and caramel. The flavor is sweet malty with light notes of spices and oranges, leading to a dry spicy and yeasty finish. The body is thin. hotstuff (3015), Indiana, USA Feb 1, 2008 Draft at New Old Lompoc Brewery, Portland, OR. Ivory head that was mostly lasting, decent amount of lacing, transparent, minimal amount of carbonation, and an orange hue. Nose was bitter, hoppy, fruity, and lightly malty. Flavor was bitter, hoppy and fruity. Fairly smooth mouthfeel and medium body. Quaffable brew that was not over-the-top hops and not too bitter tasting. Worthy of a try. bb (1964), Martinez, California, USA Sep 4, 2007 Draft. Amber beer with a light tan head. orange aroma with light malt. orange/fruity hop flavor with slight malt backing. Lingering orange/fruits. Drinkable. Good hop flavor without being overly bitter. Angeloregon (1516), Portland, Oregon, USA Aug 23, 2007 Thought this was a red when I had it, but orange will suffice. Nice pour from what I could tell under poor lighting. Medium-sized white head. amber-copper body. Great floral sweet fruity hop notes. Smooth and quite qualpable. Finish was medium to dry with a bitterness that was not overwhelming. SamuraiArtist (292), portland, Oregon, USA Aug 18, 2007 Draft: Pours a crystal clear light orange color with small white head. Aroma of bready malts and lots of citrus and floral notes. Flavor is lightly malty and a little grainy, medium hop bitterness with lots of hop flavor, just the way i like it. I am picking up amarillo hops, some orange rind characteristics, floral hoppyness, slight grapefruit flavor. Finishes dry and crisp.
