Jun 6, 2007 Tap at Brewers on the Bay. Written as "Porter Caldera" on the board. Aroma of light roast and earth. Mild and smooth taste of lactose, some cocoa, and roast. Finishes with a light citrus/astringent tang and a coffee aftertaste. Pretty smooth mouthfeel, but it was just too easy going for me. Very normal flavors IMO.

Jan 23, 2007 Pours very dark brown, like dark chocolate with a soft tan head. Rich roasty flavor with a large chocolate flavor, slight cocoa dry flavor and medium hop finish. This was an excellent porter, very smooth and balanced with a great chocolate flavor.
