Wonderful fluffy full headed porter. Great esspresso aromas, roasted coffee. Salty under taste..this is minor yet sets the theme for the porter..the saltiness makes you gulp more of the chocolaty ,.coffee goodness. Great drinking beer..with great backi\ng.

12 oz can at Stockholm Beer Festival 2008. Dark reddish brown color. Rich roasted coffee and chocolate aroma. Soft roasted flavor with coffee, chocolate, toffee and fairly low bitterness. Tasty drinkable beer with good basic flavors. There could be more complexity though.

(Canned, Stockholm Beer Festival, 27 Sep 2008) Black colour with pale brown, frothy head. Roasted, malty nose with notes of chocolate, coffee and hints of spruce needles. Malty, roasted taste with chocolate and caffe latte. Smooth and creamy with a nice coffee bitterness in the finish. Well made and nicely balanced, but doesn’t really stand out. Nice beer though.
