On tap at Baileys. Black body with a tall khaki head with a slight olive colored hue to it. Big roasted malt nose with a soft wet smokiness to it. Really well built beer, the smokiness just compliments the roasted malts perfectly, not overwhelming, but adds a great layer of depth to the beer. This beer finishes very smooth with lingering coffee notes into the finish. Excellent.

Draft at Siskiyou Micro Pub. Nose of smoke, chocolate, and pumpernickle bread. Black with a big cinnamon tan glass lacing head. Flavor is light smoke, chocolate, very light bitterness, and a lightly smoky finish.

On tap @ Bailey’s Taproom. Black color with a thin dark tan head. Nice balance of roast and chocolate on the aroma, very robust, clean, graham cracker. Great taste – roasty up front and moves back to an earthy finish. Just a well-executed straight-up stout, impressed with this one.

Tap @ Bailey’s Taproom... Poured black with a brown head. Smoked and roasted aromas. Soft, low carbonated palate with flavors that matched the aroma. Alcohol notes similar to amaretto liquor with little to no bitterness. Cocoa and mocha flavors too.
