Gravicask at GBBF. Amberish colour with a reasonable off white head. Standard bitter fayre but with lashings of caramel. Almost too much. Sticky finish that eventually turns bitter.

Aug 12, 2007 Cask-conditioned at the Hope & Anchor, Bristol 11/8/07. Copper coloured with a slight, off-white head that left a lot of lacing. Aroma of sweet malt and red fruit. Flavour was also sweet, almost caramelised with a bitter finish that prevented it becoming cloying. Good.

Aug 1, 2007 Cask (Drymen): Pale amber coloured, small and persistent off-white head; moderate fruity (peaches) and malty nose; solid bitter flavour, light bodied; traces of sweet malt and toasted malt in the mainly dryish bitter, lingering finish. Fine, well crafted stuff...........

Apr 12, 2007 Cask@Cafe Royal Circle, Edinburgh. Bronze-coloured with a steady offwhite head. Fruity toffee aroma. Bitter toffee and raisins, quite well-balanced, dry mouthfeel. Lightish body. Easily drinkable classic.

Mar 4, 2007 Cask at C4, Odense: Clear amber with off white head. Low carb - flat. Malty caramel with a watery body, even for a cask ale. Easy sweet flavor before it ends with a slight dry hoppy finish!
