Rather malty, but in a nice way - not malty as in Finnish strong lagers. Easy on the hops, this could have been a five star ale with more bitterness. Still - a nice pint!

Booring also, but it has more character, and it was more refreshing, Clear.

Cask at County Hotel JDW, Ashford Deep copper coloured beer with slight sulphurus nose and some hop with some caramel malt. Good supping beer which I can drink without too much thought, but still enjoy

Cask in Ryrie’s, Edinburgh. Not the best example I’ve had - will re-rate when on better form. Cloudy. Aroma slightly stale, yeasty. Not the kind of pub which would welcome the return of my half pint on quality grounds. Drank it quickly and got out. Good pub to go to before a rugby match - but order the Deuchars!

Maybe bias as i tasted it in the brewary on a cellar training course where it tasted beautiful. The usual cali hoppiness, and fresh seriously seriously fresh, There is a slight burnt malt in there and some fruit aswell but mainly hops. In my work(wetherspoons - kirky puffer) it doesnt taste as good therefore the rating is not as high as i would, but at the brewary itself, was probably the best pint of cast ale iv ever had. November (caledonian brewary)

Smooth and pleasant cask beer. Nice malty aroma. I’m ready for another one any time.
