Maybe bias as i tasted it in the brewary on a cellar training course where it tasted beautiful. The usual cali hoppiness, and fresh seriously seriously fresh, There is a slight burnt malt in there and some fruit aswell but mainly hops. In my work(wetherspoons - kirky puffer) it doesnt taste as good therefore the rating is not as high as i would, but at the brewary itself, was probably the best pint of cast ale iv ever had. November (caledonian brewary)

Cask. Full bodied nutbrown colour. Limited white creamy head. The beer is very creamy and full bodied.. Aroma is spicy and a weah hops smell seeps through. Taste is bitter from hops with a citric edge. Taste ends on a high note of spices (mostly coriander)

Cask at The Bell, Banbury, Oxon 28-12-08. Had three pints of this and found it most enjoyable. Poured mid brown but with good clarity and with a nice white head. Good full on fruity malty beer, little bit of soft fudge and toffee and a nice bitterness. Really decent and in great nick. A6 A5 F7 P4 OV14

[Cask at The Castle, Castleton] Deep, inviting brown colour with a thick creamy head. Sweet malt and toffee dominate, with fruit vinous flavours swirling around the edges. Sweet, yet dry and sour at the same time. Good stuff!

Cask@GBBF2007. Colour is clear amber, the head is mediumsized and white. Leaves a lot of lace. Aroma is caramel, nectar, fruits and some wood. Flavour is wooden, fruity, hoppy. Mainly dark fruits in aftertaste. Wellbalanced and nice.

A couple of pints at The Star in Middlesbrough, 05/10/07. Mid brown with a creamy head and a strong biscuity aroma. Tastes sweet and bready with a creamy smooth mouthfeel. Overall, a nicely drinkable session bitter for a lazy Friday afternoon.
