Roasted Barley, Hops to a lesser degree, chocolate and fruit.
Golden brown, big carbonation, foamy head.
Chocolate, roast, mellow and well-balanced
Medium body, yeasty exit.
Going against the grain here, but I liked it - summer holiday bonus I guess.

Lightly sweet and fruity ale aroma. Standard red-brown bitter coloring, one finger of nitro head. Fairly dry, very very light sweetness, a bit of peatiness. Light body. tupalev (2617), Waterloo, Ontario, Canada

As is, it is probably my favourite nitro beer, but it really dulls the flavours. Still, a good deal of bitterness comes through in the aftertaste, and it looks quite nice, but again, the nitro makes this a bland pint. ThomasE (5178), Copenhagen, Denmark

No date on it though. Minimal head atop a hazy chestnut body. Aroma is medium sweet, caramel, some peat. Taste is mild, somewhat sweet, caramel, some roasty, not much in the way of bitterness. Finish with a mild peaty sensation. Watery light-medium body containing minimal carbonation. MrManning (1652), London, Ontario, Canada

Head was thick, frothy, and chestnut coloured. Very nice. The body was a dark amber, and looked very inviting. Aromas were of fruit and cocoa, with some maltiness. The taste was cocoa with some fruity undertones, and no alcohol present, which I enjoyed very much. Went down smooth from beginning to end. Very drinkable! A beautifully made Scottish Ale!
