Extremely soft - in spite of the high CO2 - soft water? Pronounced malt-character and a touch of nuts. Has a somewhat odd tart edge. 220604 yespr (12414), Copenhagen O, Denmark

| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Mar 12, 2004 (1 pint bottle, labeled Amber Ale) I don't know for certain, but it seems to me that a British beer with a label that doesn't list the volume in milliliters is a pretty old bottle. No date on it though. Minimal head atop a hazy chestnut body. Aroma is medium sweet, caramel, some peat. Taste is mild, somewhat sweet, caramel, some roasty, not much in the way of bitterness. Finish with a mild peaty sensation. Watery light-medium body containing minimal carbonation.
