From cask in Edinburgh. Low yellowish cream head with great lacework. Clear, dark copper colored body. Predominant blueberry aroma, not very sweet, quite fresh actually. A barely noticeable whiff of cream caramel/toffee in the background. Flavorwise the beer appears as a decent Bitter with a generous amount of blueberry (syrup?) added. A fine earthy bitterness is there to balance though. Oily in the mouth. Light to medium body strenght. Blueberries in the ending as well.

Cask at the Wenlock on 17th October 2009. Amber with a frothy off white, fully diminishing foamhead. Fruity aromas; blueberry in the fore. Biscuit malt in main hit with a delicate berries aroma continuing. Delicate fruity finish on a slightly oily/clingy mouthfeel texture. Very well crafted novelty beer, with no overwhelm of sweetness sometimes associated therewith and, in the condition it was presented last night, deserved the 3.8/5

Cask in the Market Porter. Alround rating: Loads of blueberry essence, on the sweetside, butterscotch more than the usual diactyl, grassy bitterness in the finish leaves a bittersweet character.
