Clear golden with a medium sized white head. Aroma of caramel, nuts and sweet grapefruit. The body lacks strength, but has quite pleasant hop flavours, citrus, nuts leading into a crisp, clean hoppy finsh.

Pours light gold with medium carbonation. Lasting white head. Floral hop aroma with a bit of sweet malt behind it. Very sweet front taste that continues with a candyish-ness. I swear I detected bubblegum in here. A very light beer with a moderate amount of complexity.

Bottle. White low but lasting head. Clear golden body. Sweet and fruity aroma. Weak and round flavor, I suspect corn, IPA well well well it does have hops but is far from bitter. What a bore.

A hoppy McEwans is what I would say. It’s odd for me, an American, to have had such a hoppy bitter, given the prevalence of IPA’s here in the US. This was the second most drinkable beer while in Scotland. It approached color nearing a dark golden lager. Slight white head. I’m not sure about the "delecate hop finish" as described, since having drunk the local bitters, this was a whallop on the tongue when ordered. However, it was an interesting change given the other local offerings.

Pours clear golden with small head. Aroma of malt and floral hops. Flavour reflects the aroma. Medium body. Finish is short and crisp with low hop bitterness. Easy drinking bitter. Refreshing.
