It’s odd for me, an American, to have had such a hoppy bitter, given the prevalence of IPA’s here in the US. This was the second most drinkable beer while in Scotland. It approached color nearing a dark golden lager. Slight white head. I’m not sure about the "delecate hop finish" as described, since having drunk the local bitters, this was a whallop on the tongue when ordered. However, it was an interesting change given the other local offerings. Krasulak (63), Wapadrand, Pretoria, South Africa

Aroma and taste is very much of lemon and grapefruit. Is it Caskade? A little thin but quite ok. jehoey (766), Shippensburg, Pennsylvania, USA

It’s listed here as a bitter but IPA is in the name. The aroma is alright, malty up front with floral hops. flavor is much of the same. Very balanced and it seems that malt aslmost is more prominent than hops. palate is okay. medium. nothing special DruncanVeasey (2768), The Penguin’s Arms, Europe, Warwickshire, England
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Sep 10, 2006 Almost lagery orange-amber body and thin white head studded with clumps of froth. Intensely sweet, honeyish aroma and dastardly elusive flavour. Is it rose? Honey? Raisins? Chocolate? Most likely the lot, and a dose of crisp hop bitterness thrown in for good measure. A refreshing and complex brew. GarethYoung (1110), Glasgow, Scotland

Nice round taste with a - not overly excessive - hopskick in the aftertaste. Overall one of my favorite "easy to drink" IPA’s
