So it came as a pleasant surprise to find the beer for the first time in my local pub, Blå Rock Cafe in Tromsø.The first thing you notice with the bottle version is that it is a bit stronger.
500ml bottle (bb.Jan.07). Very nice and informative label. .Poured a clear light golden colour with huge foam, slowly fading. Delicious floral aroma. Medium bodied. Very well balanced flavour with sweet malts and hops. Nice dry bitter ending. Enjoyed with a tuna salad called Waterboys. No deficiency except being served too cold (07.04.2006). Pleasant hoppy aroma with fruity notes (citrus, pineapple). Flavour is moderately hoppy and refreshing, grapefruity in the finish. Not quite as good as the the cask version, but even from a pasteurised bottle it is a pleasant session beer without any obvious flaws. saxo (3644), Højbjerg, Aarhus, Denmark

Poured a slightly hazy (?) sunny orange with a short-lived soapy white head. Fresh and spicy, floral hop nose with a touch of soft grapefruit and honeydew. The aroma was alluring for a beer of such modest strength, but sadly turned out to be the highlight. Soft and delicate in the mouth; slightly watery across the tongue and a little restrained in flavour. Reasonably zesty; dominant grapefruit and honeydew flavours kept it fresh while a zing of floral hops and soft, pale malts gave it a nice balance. Very light bitter bite just on the swallow before a finish that showed more soft fruits. Not bad, deadly sessionable at best. (50cL, 18/07/06, Moon & Sixpence, Woodvale) Storm (2685), Amager, Denmark

Nice smooth aroma of melon, and some sweet fruit. Also nice flavour that becomes smooth sweetish, and caramel-like. Very drinkable. Blake (223), Orange, California, USA
| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 3/5 | 7/20 | Feb 13, 2006 Very weak IPA - brought over from Scotland by a friend, so definitely authentic, but lacking in taste. Both my parents enjoyed it because it had no aftertaste - not a good sign in my opinion - I want strong hops and malt...not this weak stuff with no flavor.
Clear yellow with little carbonation and slight lacing. Head minimal. Easy to drink, but flavorless. Had expected more from an IPA. Just an ale-like flavor with little hops & malt.
