not the best bitter i’ve got, but certainly not bad. aroma: caramel, perfumy, citrussy hops. taste: citrussy, flowery and a bit malty. finishes fruity and bitter. why is this categorized as a bitter, while the name states Indian Pale Ale??? just a little one-dimenional.

Bottle (from Sainsburys BBE Jun 06). WOuld be average with faint maltiness and herbal hops but diacetyl undertones spoil the effect.

one of Scotlands top beers. more easy to find on the East coast than the West as a draught but nationally available in bottles. Canned variety probably not quite so good.

Pours golden with white head. Nice lacing. Medium sweetness and bitterness. Strong floral aroma. A bit grassy. Nice Co2 level. Very nice and thirst quenching IPA.

Very pale appearence. Palate is light, thin and quite fizzy. It’s a lot like a lager but there is a large sense of fruit like a lot of the (post)modern ales, but not too over powering. Cool and very refreshing. I’d recomend this to lager drinkers to get them into bitter.

Bottled. A golden coloured beer with a thin veiled white head. The aroma has a ton of unexpected diacetyl which follows through into the taste. Some hoppiness there but it’s spoilt by the diacetyl. Obvioulsy much better cask conditioned.

A real thirstquencher. Very elegant, not too hoppy IPA. floral note and soft feel.. A girly beer.. for girls who like beer.
