| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Oct 14, 2004 This IPA pours a golden yellow with a white spore like head. Metallic scent with a touch of grassy grain to the nose. First sip was very hoppy but had mellow carbonation. Sharp bitterness held on until the palate. A real thirst quencher the palate was nothing to write home about beerhugger (541), Oshawa, Ontario, Canada
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Oct 11, 2004 Golden child with big white hair. Delicate hops is how they describe it eh? Yes the hops were very light - not what I want in an IPA - nor for that matter what a true IPA required for it’s journey. Almost had some skunkiness to the aroma too. thin and basic with a very mild bitter touch to it and some light malt perhaps. Washed a burger down OK I suppose... beanmedic (324), Hamilton, Ontario, Canada
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Oct 10, 2004 bottle. fairly good. modest hop profile. golden colour. not too remarkable, but it doesnt compare to REAL IPAs that are ridiculously hoppy. solid. tupalev (2617), Waterloo, Ontario, Canada
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Oct 3, 2004 Updated: Sep 20, 2007Tried again from the can this time, LCBO. Medium yellow, with a big fluffy white head - well, it looks a hell of a lot better than last time. Aroma of spicy pine hops, pretty nice. Taste - mild hops over a thin light malt body with a tang of caramel malt. Hmm - taste still really doesn’t work for me, but cold, I can see how it might be refreshing. Improved rating, much fresher from the can. Original 7/2/4/2/8
Surprisingly not too fond of this beer, bottled version. Surprised in that I really enjoy a good session beer. What I found
here was a pale limp yellow thin body.
Substantial hop aroma, but also a bit of a skunky thing happening as well. Taste was a thin sort of syrupy malt and hop mix, but pretty uninspiring. Would rate again on cask if possible, may even try another pasteurized bottle for consistency. kook (2034), Perth, Western Australia, Australia
