Aroma reminds me of a buttery chardonnay. Very sharp on the palate, which brings through a sour taste. Disappointing for me, especially after the superb Sheep Heid Ale (which I can’t seem to rate).
3.5: Rated again at The Bell next to Cannon St Station in London. A much better kept ale, flowery and fruity with good bittering. My kind of session beer. TC2642 (265), Worcester, Worcestershire, England

Tried this also at the brewary itself, and found the cali 80 better, but both quite similar over all.
A decent session beer, but is mass produced now to a rediculus level in scotland. Rerate: Bland pritty boring compaired to what it used to be, and where are the hops?

An award winning golden beer that is up there to be hit at - but can’t really be as it’s constantly good. Fantastic fruity, floral aroma leads into a richly hopped full body ending in a smooth dry finish. The low bitterness level really helps this beer to excel. GarethYoung (1110), Glasgow, Scotland

Toffee edging into diactyl was the primary flavour of this acclaimed ale. I had enjoyed the filtered bottled 4.4% version some three years ago just after it had won Supreme Champion. Perhaps it was the extra abv or the stronger carbonation; or perhaps it was the dull condition of this cask, but I preferred the bottled version. This had a mild orange tang and a soft finish. There was a grassy urine aroma, and the whole thing was pleasant enough (once the palate had adjusted to the slight diactyl) - but it certainly wasn’t fresh and exciting. [2.9]
