From working in my bar iv found it to be one of my favourates when it comes in, though loses flavour and becomes particularly flat quickly. Refreshing though.

Nice lite malt body with a bit of noble hop aroma. Honeydew and molaases notes very lite. with some nuts and prunes. Thin mouthfeel that finishes almost nonexistent. Somewhat dry cracker aftertaste.

Rare Breeds Fest. Very dark brown with a skim foam top. Very nice, but tastes a bit green. Mild-like flavours - some berry fruit and a hint of roast. A pleasant cereal sweetness nudges through. A cola caramel comes through in the finish. Fudge aroma. This is like a sweet dark mild. Light bodied.

A rather curious beer, but not unpleasant, if not really to my taste. Reddish copper colour. Malt and fruit dominate and it starts out quite dry (without being bitter), but finishes soft and a little sweet. There are quite a lot of elements here, but they don’t knit together perfectly. Cask (handpump), Lord Moon of the Mall, Whitehall, London SW1.

Bottled, Pasteurised. Ruby red in colour. Malty juicy nose and initial flavour, resin flavour on the hops is quite off putting. Highly carbonated.

(on tap) Malty and peachy smell. Not much head. Clear dark red coloured. Malty and fresh fruity taste. Moderate bitter palate.

Drank from tap at Jan Primus: Cloudy brown color, very short dying head. Aroma of malts, raisins, prune. Flavor of chocolate malts and some roasted malts. Palate is quite dry and only slightly bitter. I was quite surprised by this peace of scottish craftmanship.
