Yellow gold in colour with a frothy medium head. A smoky malt and burnt caramal aroma. Reasonably smooth, but I found the taste too strong of vanilla and butter. harrisoni (6798), Ashford, Kent, England

Soft sweet malt dominates, light citrus hops are there but these are played down. Good flavoursome ale, but this has lost some of its character over the years. Weatherspoons,Gala.
