Lightly lemony malt aroma. Maybe a hint of yeast. Burnished gold color with vigorous white head and definite lacing. Starts with a honeyish sweetness, flowers!, and some light bitter finish. Unique it is. Ain’t it grand how a few ingredients can generate myriads of flavors, while those grapes are stuck in ruts. Consider this a flavorful session beer. (at least in America) There is some long term astringency, but every sip provides a restart of lite sweetness.

Vegan approved.. but is it Kosher? Pours light amber with nice white head that produces some interesting lacing. Mysterious aroma features an array of hop notes- flowers, light pine, and slight lemon as well as malt and yeast. Flavor is piney, slightly-yeasty, and powerfully bitter. Finish is bitter, astringent, and cleansing. It’s not bahd but it’s not grrate neether.

Bottle - Co-op branded: clear golden colour; head faded quickly; aroma of honey and malt; taste the same with a hint of bitterness.

500 ml bottle. Golden colour and slightly hazy. Medium-sized white meringue head that clings to the glass, but disintegrates quickly. Crisp, and perhaps even a little acidic, nose. Citrusy and sharp, but also a bit thin aroma. Light-bodied and thin, and a citrusy malty flavour. A light beer, and quite acidic. There is a little malt there as well, but it is too weak.

500 ml bottle. Golden coloured beer with a thin white head. Aroma of orange and light spicy hops. Some light pear and berry esters along with a spicy hoppiness. Fairly fresh aroma with some lovely UK-type earthy malts. Flavour is of mostly bready malts with orange, spicy hops, and a soft floral/candyish character as well. Better than I thought it would be.

A Mes rate: 50cl bottle from Co-Op. Honey and some sort of detergent in the aroma. Medium brown colour. Typical crappy English head. Fruity and almost tart flavour. Not particularly well balanced. Something acrid in the finish which is none too pleasant. Yeah yeah.
