| 1.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 2/5 | 2/10 | 2/5 | 4/20 | Feb 1, 2006 This beer is very bland. The there is a defenitve taste of alchol and hops. The malt presence is very thin. I’m just not impressed. johninmelb (692), Bristol, Gloucestershire, England
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Jan 30, 2006 Very biscuity nose. Golden straw coloured with a persistant head and some good lace. Flavour is a little sour from the start, with some ameliorating buttery malt but not a lot, building to a mainly yeasty and sour finish. A shame really, for an organic showing such - well - promise, but not fully delivering. Perhaps it would benefit from a bit of aging. BigBilly (127), London W3 6PF, England

Very similar in flavour to old speckled hen. I was pleasantly surprised to hear its a real beer brewed by a real company. Magicdave6 (5500), London, Greater London, England
| 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Oct 5, 2005 Mmm. Pours a darker golden colour. Aroma is not right im not sure what it is but it doesnt seemn right to me though there is some maltiness kickin in as it warms. Taste is just not upto par with the cask stuff, lightly malty with a dryish finsh but just not as good all round. tronraner (1916), Seymour, Tennessee, USA
